The following document is an analysis into the 2000 relational conflict case study, "Shallow Talk and Separate Spaces", by Sandra Metts. Matters of relational power, conflict styles and negative conflict behaviors & patterns chosen and exhibited by the couple in the case study are analyzed for a greater understanding about what can make or break a couple in conflicting situations.
